Psychologists have developed a free 10-minute test that they claim is an excellent assessment of “fluid intelligence.”
According to a study published in the journal Behavior Research Methods, the test’s 23 questions were trialled on 713 students, and the results correlate with math test, college GPA, and college admissions test scores.
The article explains the difference between “crystalized intelligence” which can be influenced by learning and “fluid intelligence” which is deemed to be innate - with learning having no effect. At the end of the article, the author offers her personal thoughts on the results one will receive from taking the test..
All in all, a very interesting test as well as a very good read.
